<lom:langstring xml:lang="it">La collezione geopaleontologica del Barone Achille De Zigno, illustre paleontologo, fu acquistata privatamente dal Prof. Omboni subito dopo la morte di De Zigno (15 gennaio 1892) e formalmente donata all&#39;Ateneo di Padova il 21 giugno 1894. La raccolta consiste di minerali, rocce e fossili per un totale di 10818 reperti, pagata, all&#39;epoca, 20.000 Lire. Insieme alla collezione, oggi conservata presso il Museo di Geologia e Paleontologia di Padova, Omboni acquisì e donò i mobili che la contenevano e i libri della biblioteca De Zigno.</lom:langstring>
