Biblioteca di Geografia - Università di Padova 2017 "Teatro del mondo" ripercorre innanzitutto l’evoluzione del genere atlante nel corso di quattro secoli, attraverso una selezione delle collezioni storiche conservate presso la Biblioteca di Geografia dell’Università di Padova. Dato poi il primato detenuto per secoli da Venezia nella produzione di questo peculiarissimo prodotto librario, una particolare attenzione viene riservata all’area veneta: la città di Padova e il suo territorio, Venezia e l’Adriatico. The project named after this book retraces first of all the evolution of the atlas model, throughout a selection of the historic collections preserved at the Geography Library of the University of Padua. Furthermore a specific concern is dedicated to the Venetian area: the city of Padua and its district, Venice and the Adriatic Sea.
