<description descriptionType="Other">This volume presents an Italian university-based CLIL (Content and Language Integrated  Learning)  Learning  Center.  The  blended  methodological  and  lan-guage  support  services  provided  by  the  CLIL  Learning  Center  to  university  professors are thoroughly examined. Within a CLIL theoretical framework, the design  of  corpus-informed  content-specific  teaching  materials  in  the  target  language is also analyzed in depth; the use of corpora in CLIL materials design is  focused  on  in  the  present  work  in  which  applied  corpus  linguistics  plays  a  pivotal  role.  Furthermore,  the  online  learning  environments  created  to  sup-port effective CLIL technology-enhanced teaching/learning are investigated. </description>
