<dc:description xml:lang="en">This volume presents an Italian university-based CLIL (Content and Language Integrated  Learning)  Learning  Center.  The  blended  methodological  and  lan-guage  support  services  provided  by  the  CLIL  Learning  Center  to  university  professors are thoroughly examined. Within a CLIL theoretical framework, the design  of  corpus-informed  content-specific  teaching  materials  in  the  target  language is also analyzed in depth; the use of corpora in CLIL materials design is  focused  on  in  the  present  work  in  which  applied  corpus  linguistics  plays  a  pivotal  role.  Furthermore,  the  online  learning  environments  created  to  sup-port effective CLIL technology-enhanced teaching/learning are investigated. </dc:description>

  
<dc:description xml:lang="it">Il volume illustra la struttura di un centro di servizi didattici CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) rivolto a docenti universitari che fornisce consulenza metodologica e linguistica erogata da esperti del settore. 
L’analisi dell’uso dei corpora per la creazione di materiali didattici CLIL, relativi ai vari insegnamenti, è realizzata all’interno di un quadro teorico metodologico che vede il connubio di linguistica dei corpora e linguistica applicata in prospettiva CLIL. 
Gli ambienti di apprendimento online utilizzati e le attività realizzate con l’ausilio delle nuove tecnologie sono inoltre esaminati alla luce di modelli didattici elaborati sulla base delle nuove modalità di generazione del sapere.</dc:description>
