«La scrittura incomincia … col titolo: “De Laserpitio, et Laserpitji pluvia” … s’inizia [poi] un altro breve trattato intitolato: “De Cera, Cereisq: et pluvia Cerea” […]. Il carattere delle due scritture è della stessa mano e fu ritenuto dal Marsili […] e poi dal De Visiani come autografo del Cesi, ma il prof. A. Favaro, che ebbe pure ad occuparsi di detto Codice, espresse qualche dubbio, nel senso che di pugno del Cesi non esisterebbe nel ms. cje il titolo di ambedue le scritture e la parola “finis” […]»[1].
