<lom:langstring xml:lang="it">Alla fine del 2008 la Biblioteca biologico-medica A.Vallisneri ha organizzato una serie di incontri in occasione dell&#39;imminente bicentenario della nascita di Charles Darwin (1809-2009). 
L&#39;evento si è sviluppato in quattro presentazioni di libri, a tema evoluzionismo, da parte dei rispettivi autori:
- il 5 novembre Alessandro Minelli con il suo libro Forme del divenire. Evo-devo: la biologia evoluzionistica dello sviluppo;
- il 19 novembre Andrea Pilastro con il libro Sesso ed evoluzione. La straordinaria storia evolutiva della riproduzione sessuale;
- il 4 dicembre Telmo Pievani con il libro Charles Darwin, Taccuini 1836 1844;
- il 19 dicembre Guido Barbujani ha concluso con il suo libro Europei senza se e senza ma. Storie di Neandertaliani e di immigrati.

Gli incontri si sono svolti in biblioteca nell&#39;ambito della rassegna BiblioCult - gli eventi della Biblioteca Vallisneri.
