Description (en)
In November 2018, the European Commission launched the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) at the University of Vienna. The European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) envisions establishing a European data infrastructure, integrating high-capacity cloud solutions.
Europe's final transition must be one from fragmented data sets to an integrated European Open Science Cloud.
By 2020, all European researchers will be able to deposit, access and analyse European scientific data through a European Open Science Cloud.
4 core operating principles: Openness, Inclusivity, Balance and Foresight, to support the deliberations of the Governance Board by providing analysis and recommendations on key issues relevant to the co-construction, development, and sustainability of the EOSC.
