Il re Vittorio Emanuele III, insieme al Ministro dell'Educazione Nazionale Giuseppe Bottai (a sinistra in uniforme chiara), in visita al Centro Volpi di Elettrologia (palazzo Vendramin Calergi) dopo la cerimonia d'inaugurazione della 26. Riunione della Società Italiana per il Progresso delle Scienze, tenutasi presso la Sala dello Scrutinio del Palazzo Ducale a Venezia il 12 Settembre 1937. Schierati dietro di lui, i fascisti universitari selezionati dal GUF come segretari aggiunti ad ogni singola sezione della Riunione. L'evento è testimoniato da un filmato dell'Istituto Luce Cinecittà (Giornale Luce B1170, 22/09/1937, "26° riunione della società italiana per il Progresso delle scienze", http://www.archivioluce.com ).

King Vittorio Emanuele III, together with the Minister of National Education Giuseppe Bottai (on the left, in a light-colored uniform), visiting the Volpi Centre for Electrology (Palazzo Vendramin Calergi) after the inauguration ceremony of the 26th Meeting of the Italian Society for the Advancement of Science (Società Italiana per il Progresso delle Scienze), held in the Sala dello Scrutinio of the Doge’s Palace in Venice on 12 September 1937. Standing behind the King are university Fascist members selected by the GUF (Fascist University Youth) as assistant secretaries for each individual section of the meeting. The event is documented by a newsreel from Istituto Luce Cinecittà (Giornale Luce B1170, 22/09/1937, “26th Meeting of the Italian Society for the Advancement of Science,” http://www.archivioluce.com).
